yes, let's!
my first summer speed painting is taken from the vast blueray movie-stills collection here
and it features the cavalier Ryan Gosling tinkering under a bright lamp, which made for some cool color transitions in the skin.
Here's the first 40 minutes of color blocking:
Total Time: 1hr 30 min
This first speed painting has reminded me how much I HATE the photoshop color display... it's so counter-intuitive :(
Things I think need to be worked on: accurate shape blocking (most obvious in the face) and combining soft and hard edges

And then after almost another hour of going crazy with a low opacity brush, the final product.
